
The brand name, Testigo (Witness), is a tribute to the experience and the artisanal production method that we have inherited from our ancestors.
Witness, as the brand indicates, refers to the person who witnessed the process of our grapes from when they sprout in the vines until they reach our glass, in this case, Santiago Romero de Ávila Salcedo, author of this wine.

The art of winemaking through amphora fermentation
Testigo is 100% amphora fermented wine. As in ancient Rome, when wine used to be elaborated slowly in clay amphoras, allowing a constant micro-oxygenation through a longer fermentation process, keeping intact all the healthy characteristics of wine.
Another benefit of amphora fermentation is the micro-evaporation of water, concentrating the natural aromas of the grape. As a result, we obtain a wine of extraordinary quality.
